HI ,

Will be flying this route in the coming months and was looking into finding out what seat types? I have heard conflicting reports between angled flat to fully flat. I am guessing the seats are angled flat but would be pleasantly surprised if someone would suggest the latter. Thanks

Yes, definitely angled flat bed seats only on the B777-200. I hope they consider updating the J class seats to fully flat soon, especially when they're planning on keeping these planes for several more years to come.

I flew recently and the angle wasnt that bad if your not too tall. I still had a good sleep after Taiwan.

I don't mind the angle at all and I always sleep very well on those seats, especially since I sleep on my side. The pitch on the B777-200 is huge and you never have to step over anyone to access the aisle.

have never had a problem sleeping in these, and have done so often!

Flown the MEL - KUL route many a times with MH in J (when they used to fly the 772) and found the slight angle to be marginal. Will shortly be partaking in the exact same sectors as you (KUL > NRT > LAX) so may change my mind after being subjected to 18/20hours of angled sleep.
