I would appreciate some advice on access to the BA Arrivals lounge at T5 at LHR.

My wife will be arriving at T5 from HKG (on a QFF J award flt) on BA026 at 4:50AM 27/5 and I will be arriving from Chicago (on a DONE4) on BA294 at 6:40AM, and she'd like to wait for me in the BA arrivals lounge before we saunter across to T3 for our BA862 10:20 departure to Prague, with me still on my DONE4 and her on a separate cheap discount economy (she's OK with this for the short sectors!). I have QF Plat status but she is only bronze.

Will she be able to get into the BA arrivals lounge without me (by right of her J BA HKG-LHR flight)?
If so, does she proceed through UK customs & immigration before proceeding to the lounge?
The BA site says it's on the first floor before check-in and security, so I guess going through the formalities is essential to get to it?
I suppose there's no chance of her checking her luggage through to Prague from HKG? If not, she (and I) trundles it up to the arrivals lounge?

Ta,

Emkay

Your wife should be able to check her luggage all the way through from HKG and will have access to the BA arrivals lounge at T5 courtesy of her J ticket from HKG. The arrivals lounge is accessed by clearing immigration.

Emkay, look up where it is as i couldn't find it the first time. Upstairs (or elevator).
