I estimate 80-90% full on both flights. The photo I took was during boarding.

I can confirm that there were no free tickets (media, polis) for either of these flights.

Also, many of the weren't aware that they were on the inaugural flight coming out of BDB.

Looks like it will be a popular service. VA have obviously done their homework

Yes, can confirm lady next to me on the way back didnt know it was the first. On the way up we did have Dan Ewing and his partner in 17AC. The only other person I think that would of been on a freebie ticket was that guy from VA who was going through the cabin on the way back. But other than that a good turn out from both bundy and brisbane. Wish VA all the best with this new service!

PS. The flights werent listed on the departure and arrival boards which was a bit strange.

Nice certificates. Better than the QF SYD-OOL inaugural, although we did get cupcakes and models with sufboards.
No welcoming shower from the Fire Brigade??

Nope no welcoming water shower from the fire brigade, didn't get cupcakes and there were no balloons at BNE or BDB. Was a bit bumpy in and out of BNE and as well in and out of BDB but other than that nice day for flying.
