Lufthansa luggage performance in EU?

We’re in Marseille for a few days, flying to Budapest with LH on Friday via a few hours layover in Munich. Has anyone had any issues with luggage going missing on these Lufthansa EU regional flights lately? Flights are chokkers here at the moment and I’m considering checking in our hand luggage. It would also free us up to have dinner at Airbrau without our main bags

They [temporarily] lost our luggage on two <1 hour connections last month. But in fairness they then got it to us with 24 hours by courier after that
