Lounge access in Dubai?

Hi all,

I'm travelling the follow route in the next couple of days -

CBR-ADL QF Business
ADL-DXB EK Business class
DXB-IEV flydubai Business class

I've got about 4.5 hours in DXB, and I was hoping to go take a shower and relax a bit. I am a Qantas WP too. Would I be allowed access to any of the Emirates lounges when I arrive in DXB? Obviously my onward flight is not EK (since they don't fly to IEV) but I was hoping that either my Business class ticket from ADL, or my Qantas WP would allow me to use an Emirates lounge?

Of course, the backup plan is the flydubai lounge, which a colleague informs me is dire.

You can but ask, however the rules are all about "next onward flight".

Sometimes you can bluff your way in with the last ticket but don't count on it. They are like the "police naz_" since the last couple of years.

Priority pass from a certain credit card that may get you access to a shower lounge.... Not investigated myself

no decent airline flies to Kiev.

Don't count on lounge access. Be prepared to pay
