Lounge access for SG/WP where only their guest (no status) is travelling

Any updates as to allowing SG or WP into the Lounge where only their guest is travelling (not J) and not the SG or WP member?

I can't find a source, but from what I've heard entry is permitted in that situation.

As long as someone is flying VA your allowed entry.

That seems very fair to me and now i'll be able to guest the lady into the lounge when I send her up for a break from me.

Does anyone have any recent updates on this?
eg I am VA SG and MrsDeKa is not. MrsDeKa is the only one travelling. If I drop her at the airport, I am wondering if I can guest her in. It sounds like it may be OK if the lounge is not full but i'd like to check please.

If no one has an answer, I'll try it tomorrow and report back

Just prior to Christmas, dropped Master swanning_it off at BNE and was welcomed into the lounge until he had to board. I'm SG, Master swanning_it is red.

I haven't done this myself but I have seen multiple people post that they have.

In any respect, just use the Auto Entry machine and select one guest... I have used it even when there are no people in the queue and the staff haven't question me or anything..
