Lounge access for international Y+?

Am I reading this incorrectly or does VA now provide Koru club access for ALL y+ travelers for international flights eg syd-lax?

Yup:

+ Air New Zealand lounge access is not permitted when flying on any Virgin Australia international short-haul flights except for Trans-Tasman services.

One assumes that if the LAX lounge ever graduates from its "temporary" status Y+ pax would get access. In practice however I think they'd just change the rules. Y+ are only given access trans-tasman because Y+ is the highest class of service.
