Sorry if this is a stupid question but is there a place which lists all the destinations Virgin flies based on their aircraft? I would like to know where their 330 and 777 fly to - I have a rough idea but not an exhaustive list

I know it changes regularly but I think it would be useful to know...

From the top of my head, feel free to correct me,

A330-200s, MEL-PER+PER-MEL, MEL-SYD+SYD-MEL (Occasionally, not common), SYD-PER+PER-SYD, BNE-PER+PER-BNE, Plus ???-HKG (Presumably MEL) starting soon.
B777-300ERS, MEL-LAX+LAX-MEL (Soon), SYD-LAX+LAX-SYD, BNE-LAX+LAX-BNE

MEL?-HKG and HKG-MEL? will be an A330-200, no?

The 777-300ER only does the LAX routes.

It's not updated much but here... The VA Source - Virgin Australia Aircraft

When you select the aircraft type it will show you routing and history. Though in a nutshell:

Perth - Christmas Island / Cocos Island - VARA A320
Perth Regional - VARA F100 / A320
Perth Charter - VARA F100 / A320
Perth - Adelaide (Selected Saturday flights from June) - VARA A320
Perth - Brisbane / Sydney / Melbourne (Selected flights) - VA A330
"East Coast Regional" - ATR & E190
All routes to LAX - VA International B777
Everything else - B737 700/800

The A330 also occasionally flies to Fiji on weekends does it not?

A330's used to do a Sydney - Melbourne flight on a Monday morning (which was a revenue "positioning" flight).

That seems to have stopped.

VA804 on Monday was an A330.

Then there's the list of airports where Virgin has an international lounge ....... oh, wait ...........

I noticed on the VA site it says they only have 2 777 ??

Thought they had 5..

Under 777

Number in Fleet2
Passengers339

Hah! That is actually quite funny. There are indeed 5 as you correctly pointed out. The B777 doesn't seem to get as much publicity as the A330 flagship. This is a good case in point that people (staff) really have no idea about the B777. We are definitely seen as the black sheep of the family. Just quietly doing our own thing.

Many photos of "The Business" are actually the B777 product.
