So I had my last work flight of the year on Friday (one more holiday flight to go!), which happened to be my 150th QF flight for the year.
I flew Syd - Mel at the back of the bus- my fare to sit in seat 27B was a very reasonable $949 one way!
Anyway- I thought I’d mark it with a glass of red. It cost me $6. I only had a $50, but that was fine, I got change (3 x $10s and 2 x $5s).
I have no idea what I’ve spent on flights this year, I should have a look on my credit card statement- but regardless, is it just me that thinks having to pay $6 for a wine on such an expensive fare (and after 149 other flights this year) is a bit ridiculous.
Just feels like zero loyalty :-( and at Christmas!!
Next flight is to Darwin - suppose I should take some change for that too!

Hehe- he even made me get my wallet down from the overhead locker.
It’s the little things...!

I agree it would be a nice touch for WP and above to have complimentary alcohol - it would get too messy doing it on fare class or revenue spend.

On the other hand, it is pretty clear that outside of your peak flights you won't get any unless there's been a delay or crew feel generous, so drink up in the lounge.
