KF online redemption HKG-SYD not showing all flight options

I'm currently trying to book a redemption flight from SYD-HKG return, but for the return HKG-SYD leg the only options the website is giving me see departure from HKG at 0800 on SQ1 or 0905 on SQ857. All the options mean a minimum layover in SIN of 7hr 20min.

Is this because these are the only options available for a redemption flight, or is it a limitation of the website? I would really like to be able to book this online to take advantage of the 15% discount, but if I can't do it due to their system limitation, that would be unfortunate.

I've also noticed that the new website only displays these flights for redemption, but if you go for a commercial booking then it shows all available flights. Try calling them up and see how you go, sometimes they will give you the online discount if it isn't available online.
I just sucked it up this morning and took one with an 8hr layover as I can organise meetings when in Singapore anyway.

I was having the same issues searching for HKG-SYD in November and early January 2017. Gave up trying to get it to work.

I was actually looking at Jan 2017 for HKG-SYD and it showed a few options for HKG-SYD, incl SQ863 which allows a shorter connection in SIN of sub 3 hours.

Let me know when you are going - maybe our dates overlap!

Try book using the app on your Ipad or Iphone. I have found there is often a discrepancy especially in what connectors are available. For example, Per to Lhr the app will show the 17:30 departure from Per but the website only lists earlier flights with longer layovers.

On a recent F Saver redemption to HKG, I used the Android App to search as it shows a lot more choices.

However ended up booking thru phone, as I was adding a stopover in SIN (USD100). One-way Saver redemption, does not allow a stopover, but can be added at a cost.
