JQ20 - KIX to OOL

Just like to see if anybody has information why JQ20 KIX due to leave at 2055 last night 14/2 , now will not departing KIX until 2025 TONIGHT? Was re-timed to leave at 0630 this morning but delayed until tonight now?
Have a friend on that flight, and JQ not telling the pax much. Just been put into a hotel now.
Any inforamtion will be great...thanks in advance

General consensus of opinion on jetspotter.com is inclement weather yesterday,apparently there were many missed approaches and a lot of cancellations and diversions to places like BNE.

So that may,not definete,but may have something to do with it.

Also an interesting comment from the same site about a loader hitting a JQ engine leading to the cancellation of a OOL-CHC flight.

Apologies-apparently it was Friday when this all happened so no idea what would lead to delay to a flight yesterday unless the aircraft operating the service was delayed on Friday and thus out of position for the KIX-OOL flight.

Weather in SEQ was fair on Friday, sunny saturday.

Also I believe the delay is ex-KIX, wonder whether it's snowing over there?
