Joining a Star Alliance FF Program with Retrospective Points Request

Gday guys,

Famiy member wants to join a FF program and have a retrospective claim for travel in June 2011 for approx 18000 United miles honoured.
From what I can tell, United do 120 days and Air NZ do 30, both won't cut it in this case.

Anyone know of any other programs that may honour these flights for a retrospective credit?

I recently did a retro claim for my gf who flew syd-sin-dps vv and syd-lax-yvr vv with us airways.

Account opened in oct and no problems!
