Hi
Flew from the Gold Coast to Sydney on Tuesday and upgraded to Starter Plus. Does anyone know if I will go through the same issues in getting my points credited as I did with Jet* Asia? I hope not. I just hate having to follow up on this type of stuff.

The JetFlex fares on JQ Dom have earnt points for years. I assume it will be the same system as then. (Ie - 50% of the time you'll have to report missing points, another 40% will take 4-6 weeks to credit. 10% of the time you'll get them within a week).

Flying BNE - NTL tonight on JQ+ so I'll see how long it takes me.

This is going to be a pain as we are moving up to Kingscliff for a year and will be doing lots of flights. I think Qantas/Jetstar should give us very patient Jet* flyers a bonus for having to deal with their incredibly inadequate IT system.

I think QF should take a leaf out of VA's book and rebrand Jet* as QF (and operate like Qantaslink) and move them back to the QF booking system. Or at very least, just the latter.

It is interesting that you can fly American airlines and the points will be in the account within 24 hours but Jetstar owned by Qantas are so unreliable and inconsistent in crediting points in a timely manner.

I flew on a starter plus two weeks ago and have seen no points yet. I have also tried twice to make a booking online using the Jetstar mastercard to negate credit card fees and their system will not accept a three digit security code. If i use an ANZ Qantas Amex card no problem but the fee applies. i have confirmed with them that there is an issue with their website regarding the cards.

I wish I could charge them for the time it takes to follow these things up like they charge for any human intervention.

I think there's a weekly sweep that occurs on Mondays for JQ points crediting to QFF.

I waited for 8 weeks to get *Class credits across. A recent Starter Plus was credited as just Starter with no points or SC. Did not say anything but waited to see if it was corrected. Yesterday QF did credit the Starter Plus points and SCs. Took 4 weeks for QF to find the error and to do the adjustment. So there is some kind of clean-up / audit action that seems to occur from time to time.

Flew JQ on Sat and points credited on Wed, they must have lifted their game.

Has been some improvement...flew on Saturday, points in my account yesterday with a Starter Plus fare.

Slightly slower than QANTAS but happy to get them without any problems!

Well I'm having a good run with JQ.Caught the 1730 MKY-BNE flight on 5/8 and the points were in my account on 6/8.

I'm getting mine next day every time these days. Much better.

I've also been getting great service as a WP on Jetstar recently as well! Maybe they are taking it it VA a bit...
