Jetstar will begin a Sydney-Kuala Lumpur service on September 9.
The service, operating three times a week, will be the first by an airline from Australia to Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
Malaysia is a growing tourism market for NSW with almost 41,000 visitors last year.
