Jet Airways - Baby born on plane = Free flights for life

My wife and I flew LHR-HKG-BNE (CX J) when she was 35 weeks pregnant. CX rules were that you could only travel internationally up to the 36th week of pregnancy, so they had no issues. (and I should add, neither did we)

CX rules prohibit travel from 25 weeks unless you have doctor authorisation letter.

The only reason anyone should be flying at such a late stage is purely for birth positioning but even then, why would you? The risks are huge for both the mother, baby and the airline!

I also doubt that travel insurance would be valid.
 
Continually awarding prizes to these newborns sets a dangerous precedent and encourages others to try their luck.
 
I just came across this thread. At least the baby will still be flying for free until he's 2...
