We are travelling to Port Macquarie later this year from Adelaide. VA service PQQ form SYD and BNE using ATR72s, so we will either fly ADL-BNE or ADL-SYD and connect. We would like to fly J on reward seats yet the VA website show J as not available for any ADL-PQQ search regardless of dates (presumably because there's no J cabin into PQQ). Is there a workaround that doesn't involve booking two separate reservations with associated additional costs and non-connecting reservations?

Ring up Customer service and do it on the phone. Hopefully they won't charge you....
