I was talking about this on a different thread yesterday, the kid obviously has behavior issues and for the mum, Im thinking its a "pick your battles" thing. Restraining him might have resulted in a bigger meltdown and possibly violence by the look of the kid's behavior. I wonder why the mum wasnt better prepared, the ipad should have been loaded with the kids favorites, not complaining about lack of wifi.

Im OK with kids, crying kids, being on planes - its what kids do but I also think every Y pax on that plane deserved compensation for having to put up with that.

I also wonder what sort of future this kid will have. Cant imagine the parent is happy with their current lot in life either, it must be very difficult.

Gosh I really feel for everyone on this flight.

Bad parenting on display if the mother really didn't do anything.
