If I fly QF then EK?

I am planning to fly QF from PER -> SIN -> KUL. Then, just over 36 hours later, on EK, from KUL -> DXB -> LHR. Can I book my check-in luggage all the way from PER to LHR? Or am I dreamin'?

I have just had a good look at all my options to get to KUL. QF, SQ, JQ, D7, MH and OD. I think the best choice for me is to fly QF to SIN and then MH to KUL, all on the one ticket. The layover is less than 2 hours and MH has two flights after I would arrive in SIN but JQ only has one. I am hoping to upgrade to Business class with points, so MH would be a better option than JQ.

Once again, I am assuming that my luggage would go straight through to KUL.

My daughter is flying Airasia X later in the day, too late for me. She is paying her own way!!!
