Hi All,

I thinking about joining Qantas Club as work provides very good rates, As i'm traveling with my boss most of the time, I just get the guest access that suits me fine domestic, but looking at taking advantage of it overseas.

If I join QC just wondering about the access I will get in Singapore and in HK if I only flew jetstar.

So let me get this correct if I book a flight from DRW to SING its a JQ flight so that should give me access to the QF lounge ? Then my connecting flight will be on jetstar 3k to HK.

* Jetstar refers only to (JQ) flights. Qantas Club members and Gold Frequent Flyers travelling on Jetstar Asia (3K) and Valuair (VF) do not have access to lounges.

To complicate things more so if i'm at HK airport waiting for a return flight back to Darwin via singapore look at the t&C hereInternational Business

Lounge Member and 1 guest can access lounge on day of departure.+
Guest must be travelling with member.

+next onward flight that day must be on a Qantas, British Airways or Jetstar flight number. (from HK to Sing) flying jetstar

Question is jetstar flight number is JQ or can it be Jetstar Asia (3K)

Advice would be much appreciated

Yeah, I find it very weird that Jetstar and it's various airlines are all seperate from a QP access perspective. Yet again one of the mysteries regarding Qantas and their 'disassociation' from the Jetstar brand when it's appropriate (for them).

I suspect under the rules, access in HKG will be denied, based on the 3K flight - but I haven't tried them out to see for sure.

Hopefully someone has some concrete evidence either way.

A phonecall to the Q Club membership centre looks like the easiest way to get an answer.

You would get access to the lounge in DRW if it was open, its often overlooked by many that it closes after the last flight of the afternoon to Sydney at 2.30, making it not available for the JQ flights:

Darwin
First floor, next to Gate 1
0500 to 0700, 1030 to 1430, 2200 to 0030
