Hoyts loyalty members now get 2 Qantas points per $1 (silver members) in addition to 10% cashback in Hoyts rewards on movie and candybar spend. A nice little bonus if you guys were already using it.

Plus there is the option to redeem 4000 qantas points for $20 off at the cinema, but that's pretty lame use of points imo

@Himeno: I like the salted caramel choc tops, and as a Hoyts rewards member getting Hoyts cash back is a nice touch.

However if QF points Aren't included in Candy bar spend, I'll go back to buying goodies from the supermarket

Just noticed a random 100 QFF points in my account from Hoyts. No idea why and nothing on Hoyts rewards - assume some sort of goodwill gesture due to cinema closures.

If you're in their top rewards tier, you get 1,000 Qantas points on your birthday every year.

Ah, I think I see what's happened. It was posted one day after my birthday. i'm not in the top tier, so it must have been a birthday bonus for being a member with linked QFF account.
