Greetings!
First time post.. so please be gentle.
I have just over 520,000 QF (One World) points.
Living in SYD with a better half.
Just wondering how you folk might best recommend we use these points?
Every time I sit down and consider my options I get bamboozled..
Yes I know, first world problem.. but..
I’d sincerely appreciated your suggestions..
Cheers and safe travel to all..

Earn a few more points... a round the world ticket in business class is 280K points per person. Relatively good value :)

Thanks for that helpful suggestion..
Well worth considering.

That will allow you to fly with up to five stops - so you could do Singapore, Europe, London, New York, Australia.

Taxes fees and charges can be high, and it might be difficult to find availability. But it's not impossible, and booking right when the window opens will give you more opportunity. Note that Emirates can't be used for a round-world award.

Depends what you want to do. Are you planning a trip of a life time? Is there a special place , thing you want to do. Sometimes I feel it’s best to decide what you want, and then cut your suit to fit your cloth.

Thanks GPH,
Europe’s always a good focal point but we’re also interested in visiting Canada. To that end I’ve been having difficulty trying to work out the best or most cost effective way of getting up to say Vancouver and travelling on from there. In an ideal world it’d be terrific if we could arrange 2 business class trips. One to Europe and another to Canada, but I can’t see how we could manage that with our point balance.. it’d be a dream though..

The RTW would do that for you - both canada and europe in one. But means you have to have the time for a holiday of that length.

Hi @Ozzynomad and welcome. As others have said it all depends on the scope of your travel. A round the world in Business Class is fantastic value on One World and is a great return . If you're looking at point to point then the new AKL-DPS on Emirates First Class is good value: 90,000 points plus NZD200 for 8 hours with Dom Perignon is worth a look. I've already booked two of those.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Thanks GoldCanyon,
It certainly looks as though the RTW Business might be the way to go. Then again, 8 hours soaking up Dom also has great merit. Cheers!
