I'm looking for flights to DPS from CNS and managed to find a nice combination between price and airline.

On matrix I was able to see QF CNS-SYD and then MH SYD-xKUL-DPS-xKUL-SYD and finishing with QF SYD-CNS. It listed as one entry and I was wonder if there's anyway I could book this under one PNR. I couldn't do this on QF's website which gives me QF+JQ combinations and MH's website doesn't have CNS as a starting or ending point.

I'm lead to believe that this is a MH fare as these are the fare rules I found.
Malaysia Airline System Berhad MH NLLT35AU CNS to DPS
Malaysia Airline System Berhad MH VLST9MAU DPS to CNS

Cheers! I've tried different online TAs and none of them seemed to give me that combination.

Beware the N class fare for the CNS-DPS sector may not be eligible for points/SC:
Frequent Flyer - Earning Points - Fly - Airline Partners

I'm aware. If I understand correctly N earns on the QF flight but not the MH flight when crediting to QFF. (Well it should anyway, considering it's a QF flight number, that being said would the V fare QF flight on the way back earn at full Y instead of discount Y?)

The fares I found were
N - CNS-SYD QF
N - SYD-KUL
V - KUL-DPS
B - DPS-KUL
V - KUL-SYD
V - SYD-CNS QF

I'm also wondering if it's possible to switch which FF program I credit to mid-journey and then back again. That way I can credit the SYD-KUL sector to someone else and then everything else to QFF.

Why go with MH, CNS-DRW-DPS with QF and JQ is $1050 including plus packs on JQ, bit shorter.

For the extra $100-150 I'd rather fly MH/QF on widebody aircrafts than JQ on a A320... Those cheap flights have a overnight stop over in DRW IIRC and not to mention avoiding JQ altogether which is a nice plus.

The main reason though is to have a stop over in SYD, flying down on a Friday evening and then leaving on Sunday to have a day with the family. (A side bonus to this is more SCs! 60SC compared to 90SC on MH if my calculations are correct. Points earning as a SG is left little to desire on MH though 6232 compared to JQ's 7486 despite the massive milage difference. But not much of a loss if it's a comparison.)

Speaking of stopovers, I can't book the multi-city itinerary I was looking at. Would going to a normal TA make any difference?

No worries, pity it was not July, with Air Asia back to DRW, their inbound flight would allow you to catch the 8PM QF to CNS.
