Any suggestions how to improve my current system?
Annual spend in Woolworths $12,000, spend on fuel at Woolworths $6000.
Cost for $18,000 woollies gift card from rac $17100.Saving $900
17100 QFF points from gift cards, 10400 QFF from $12k spend. Value in Big W vouchers $200
Fuel savings on 4285 litres, 4c + another 4c from 2 x milk purchase$5. Saving $343.

$1443 savings on $18,000 spend. Bonus points and fuel vouchers not included.
 
Yes you should use an American Express card to get 1.5 points per dollar on that purchase so you get an extra 8550 points.
You can do in $8,000 tranches for $7,600 a time so you get better value out of your money that is cycling and speed it up with friends playing along with you.

This way you can feel like a staff member without working at WOW. Also if you read the Woolies annual report they don't make that much out of a final sale dollar so you are getting a very good shake out of what is available.
Don't feel too sorry for the big retailer because they win when a gift card expires and amazingly lots do expire.
