Looking for a hotel recommendation for a 16hr layover in Shanghai. In and out of PVG, so close by would be good.

Looking for a hotel recommendation for a 16hr layover in Shanghai. In and out of PVG, so close by would be good.

There is a hotel right in PVG - located mid-way between terminals 1 and 2 (the terminals are connected by a covered walkway).

That's probably going to be one of the easiest options for you if you are intending to head out into Shanghai for some sightseeing.

The arrival and departure time of your flight may be an issue - I couldn't see any day rates on the hotel's official website. Daily rates start at CNY368.

That's a fairly good price for something in Shanghai at that comfort level. From the hotel getting into town is easy.
