Hotel Advice AKL

Hi Everyone,

I've worked in AKL a lot but always stayed in the Novotel Ellerslie as it is close to work.

I'll be staying there for 3 nights before my honeymoon to Moorea.

I had status with accor so I lean towards them but I love the location of the Hilton.

Please give me some recommendations/advice between the Sofitel, Pullman, Hilton and any others. The main aim is to have a nice stop over with some good food and wine before heading to the island.

We have a booking at the French Cafe, noticed it's quite close to the Pullman but that would be a silly way to pick a hotel wouldn't it =P.

Hilton, nice but expensive. Debretts is central, boutique hotel, nice wine bar

Hilton on the wharf is fantastic. Highly recommended.
