Hi everyone, I would like to get 470 status credits by 31/10/10 to get Partner Gold. I cannot seem to find any good value JASA to get there, is there any suggestions on any deals that will work?

CBR-SYD-HBA return for 16000 each way + $$$$ for 100 SC each way.
BNE-MEL-SYD-NAN return for 70000 each way for 180 SC (or $1300 return if you pay $$$ for 360 SC)
TSV-BNE-ADL for 24000 + $95 for 120 SC.

Thanks for that response - I have tried to book the BNE-MEL-SYD-NAN return, but I cannot get that routing. I only can get BNE-SYD-NAN return, is there something I am doing incorrectly????

Do you actually get SCs and points, if you use points plus pay? I wasn't aware of that; I thought you only got the SCs & points if you used $$$ only (ie, no points)?

Points + pay as a normal booking is a ASA, not to be confused with a classic award where you pay taxes and get not points etc.

For the BNE-NAN, use multicity and put in BNE-MEL them MEL-NAN and on return vice versa.

Its in discount fare bucket so seats are limited, weekends need to be booked ealry however mid week departures often are available at short notice:

Also have a look at BNE-MEL-NAN, its slightly less SC's but will have more availability at times than the SYD flights as its less family friendly timing, its possible to do BNE-MEL-NAN-SYD-MEL-BNE without the need to do a stopover in NAN.

I didn't realise it was possible to do so. As I'm on my iPhone I can't check/can't be bothered to check the SC's from MEL-NAN but assume for that routing you end up with 320SC overall? Might be something worth booking for a requal headstart next year.
