I have been a long time reader of this very informative forum, decided to join and hopefully participate in a positive way. I am a very frequent flyer but not so good when it comes to maximising the value of my points.
I have been fortunate enough over the years to have a job that involves a lot of international commuting and a very kind boss that paid business class for all my flights. At one point I was a QF WP, AF Platinum, MH platinum and EK platinum that's equates to a lot of sitting on my bum sipping champagne or waiting around airport lounges. These days I still commute but a lot closer to home, mainly South East Asia. Right now I only have QF LTG and a few hundred thousand points on EK to use.
