Hi

Been lurking for a while as we've been planning our trip to Australia for December.

Thanks to everyone for the great posts as it's really helped with the planning and booking.

Will try and payback with contributions now I've broken my posting duck!

I forgot to ask where in Wales you are from?
I spent 6 months living and working in a hotel in the Wye Valley.
Near Tretower / near Crickhowell / near Abergavenny, in the shadow of the Brecon Beacons.
And boy were those shadows dark (and cold) in winter!

We're doing a whistle stop tour, Perth, Melbourne, Palm Cove and home via Sydney across 3 weeks so will be pretty busy!

I travelled across for a few months many years ago but my Wife has never been so it's blast across 🛫
