I'm looking for some new headphones as my current ones have broken/stopped working.

I'm after 2 pairs for different purposes, one small, light wight and easily portable for general use and a pair of noise cancelling headphones for travel.

For general use, my current pair are Philips SHS8200/28.

Philips no longer makes these, or anything similar.
I'm looking for something that is foldable/collapsible, so that it can fit in a pocket, that are not earbuds.

For noise cancelling, I'm now on my 3rd pair. Each has lasted 2-3 years. The first 2 were Philips SHN9500s that I got at SIN. Replaced the first after one speaker stopped working. Replaced the 2nd after I lost it at IAH.
The current pair are Creative HN-900s picked up at ORD. The headband snapped during my last trip.

Any suggestions for replacements?

For basic in ear buds I use the Seinheisser 3.0 and have been very happy with them. I deliberately opted not to get one that can be used for calls as I find the microphone effects the sound quality.

As I am a bit prone to just dropping them in my handbag I found I was losing the rubber ear bits easily. Quick contact to Seinheisser and I was able to purchase a 10 pack of replacement ones.

Noise cancelling - I just use Bose QCS.

I have been using B&O H8 for the past couple of years as my NC for flights, both LH and SH. Battery life is not a problem when travelling SYD-DFW which is the longest flight I take. On last trip to US I purchased the H9s and now use them as primary NC headphones, I wear glasses and find over ear more comfortable than on ear.

As I was happy with the B&O H8 product now I use H5s as my daily headphones. As I use an iPhone 7 headphone selection had to be Bluetooth and easy to use. The H5s comes with some chunky high density foam ear plugs so that helps with noise reduction, but not noise cancelling.

I have used (and still have) QC25 and Bose earbuds, the B&Os are up there in price but for me the additional price has been worth it. I am a self confessed gadget person, I also have also owned and used headphones by parrot, seinheisser, Sony, B&W and beats.

Sennheiser PXC 550s, a recent upgrade from the 450s which lasted me 8 years (and are still going strong). I upgraded for the newer NC, and I saw them on special.
Addicted to Audio consistently has them for the cheapest price worldwide, lately lower than the USD price but in AUD!! ($375ish). And you can claim the GSt back on them via TRS.

Love them to bits.

For something different, consider an Australian product.. Nu Heara Buds
