Heading to Veracruz for a work conference shortly (next month) - Any advice?

there for about 5 days, flying UA: SYD-LAX-IAH-VER and return.

One thing worth mentioning is I need to get from Veracruz Airport to the University of Veracruz in Xalapa - any advice?
