Just received an email 95th birthday fares for $95 one way AKL -> SYD,MEL,BRI - looks good, accessible from the QANTAS nz site.
 
Checking AKL-SYD only seemed to be the 6am flight Mon-Thu over select dates May- July 16.

No corresponding AU sale either

Yeah, only QF140 on some days is available for AKL-SYD. But if bought as a return ticket, a mid-morning departure ex SYD is also available for ~$140.
