Got the new qantas card just wrong one 

Opened my mail and got the new qantas card and baggage tags yesterday, too bad they were silver instead of WP, hope they send out the correct one soon, very annoying!

I only hit WP tuesday week ago, but thought the reason for the delaying getting the WP card was because of the new cards being held up.

Anyone else had this happen to them?
 
Haha really, that’s nuts!

At least that gives me some hope that I could request new NGCI cards for myself as I am hoping to pass through SYD in December and want to try the system out.

Does the Silver kit look vastly different to the Platinum kit there are photos of in the forum?
 
When were you Silver? Anytime in the recent months or were you jumping from a long stint in Gold.
 
I had already been sent out my silver card early around my anniversary, then I skipped gold and went straight to WP a week and half ago (did a MR in the states but hadn't done my 4 qantas qualifying flights)

Having issues uploading pix off my iPhone, will have a go when I'm back in Melbourne on Tuesday
 
10 days is probably not long enough for WP cards to be sent out, like you I went from PS to WP and from memory it took 2-3 weeks for package to arrive. I would say that you've been on the list for the PS tags prior to making WP.

I would agree, I bet there is another package on the way soon.
 
Just spoke to qantas, and the lady was very helpful, but she actually had to put me on hold and physically walk over to whoever looks after the issuing of cards and request my platinum one, because this other package had been sent out already, said I should now get in a few weeks...by the sounds of it, lucky I rang up!

I might have issues trying then, but I’ll give it a shot next week and see what happens anyway.
