Just saw this too through the news. Some questions need to be raised and answered, just like in all crashes, but for now my hopes and best wishes are with the victims and there families!

Recent SMH news story TransAsia Airways plane crashes on landing in Taiwan, killing at least 47

Apparently 11 survivors, surprised from the pictures. ATR72 crashed and demolished two buildings. Wishes go to those lost and still with us.

Very sad for all families.

however, I also got a fright, as mr TQ is currently in Tiawan... not on that flight though.

yesterday, Taiwanese government declared a day off work / school, due to the typhoon.

I didn't realise there was a real TransAsia Airlines.

Ppl who remember watching the Aussie soap Skyways will remember that was the name of the international airline in the show & Federal was the fictitious domestic airline.
