What I get from that is:
- most reddit users are happy to fly Y and barely consider anything else.
- many want to get or be drunk to make the Y experience better.
- many also want to fly drug affected.
- ATL is either a great place to transit (majority of locals) or a horrible place to be avoided (everyone else).
- bribe cabin crew with chocolate and See’s candies, but tell yourself that it’s not a bribe and you’re really just being nice to another human. But definitely don’t do the same for TSA staff...

-bribe cabin crew with chocolate..candies

I've seen this mentioned multiple times (also giving them magazines)

Though I myself don't consider it a bribe, I have never done it in case they think I'm a flopping weirdo! Or, what if a couple of them get the runs during the flight and they think I poisoned them (I know, unlikely, but what if?)

Although, my last flight transiting Changi, I had just gotten off F so was in the TPR. I had a perfume bottle (that I didn't like) from my earlier SQ J and knew I'd be getting another one in an hour, so I offered it to the lounge angel - she didn't even blink, that bottle was expertly pocketed with the hand skills of a croupier, just disappeared...so maybe they are used to travellers giving them stuff

I find the whole take chocolates a little odd, especially now as it is frequently spoken about. Surely crew are going to end up getting multiples so it's unlikely to get you much in the way of special treatment.

I took some on one flight - but that is because my friend was on crew and I knew I'd be spending some time in the galley with them once meal service was done.

I've always thought the chocolates thing was weird. These are adults earning a decent salary, they can afford to buy their own chocolates if they want. They're not children you need to bribe with sweets.
