Hi all,

Apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere, but could not find it.

I am planning on flying home from the UK to Aus via NYC. Planned routing is LHR - JFK - DFW - SYD - MEL. A combination of BA to the US, AA internallly to DFW and then QF home, but all booked on AA flight numbers.

Is the points earn for the sectors on QF metal treated at the discounted SC earn rate per OW partners now because of the AA flight number? Will I still have QC lounge accces in DFW in this situation or would I be booted to the AA lounge, if at all? (QP PS).

Thus far this routing is significantly cheaper than booking on QF numbers it seems.

Appreciate any advice, thanks.

You'll have to check the fare class.

I booked through AA once and received nothing for it through Qantas, no points, no status credits, nothing.

A quick Google search will pull up the Qantas page for you.
