I am a bit confused with baggage rules for Thai Airways, on my flight details in the Thai Airways app i downloaded, under baggage details, it says 30kg for checked baggage from Sydney to Bangkok, but then 25kg from Bangkok to Sydney.
It says checked bag for both trips, as if to imply only one piece of checked luggage is allowed.

I wish to bring a large suitcase and a small one, im not sure if they have to equal 25kgs, or if they can be 25kg each.

But on the Thai Airways website, it says for passengers from Australia, that it 30kg combined luggage.

For anyone that has flown with Thai Airways (im worried if answers are provided for other airlines, they wont apply to Thai Airways), have you brough along two pieces of checked luggage? Were they allowed to be 25kg per piece or was it combined?

You can take as many bags as you like if you are willing to pay the excess.

If you want to know the included allowance I would look here

It seems to me that your allowance depends on the fare type as is fairly standard but you can take up to two bags which in total must be under that limit.
