Confused, Travelling LAX-MEX-LAX on DL codeshare operated by AM.. Am I coorect in assuming accruing velocity points on this flight? Does this entitle me to use the DL lounge at LAX as well. I am platinum with velocity but travelling Y??
 
Points & Status Credits are only awarded or flights on Delta metal.
