Hello,
I
booked in circa September, MANCHESTER to DOHA to KL with Qatar on the Qatar website, and flew in December.

They are showing up in my QF Activity Statement, but are showing 0 status credits and 0 QFF points earned - flight is stated as being in "Economy".

Is there any logical explanation for this that I am missing? They showed up on 4th Jan, so was hoping they'd just be updated in the next couple of days, but have not.

I am also surprised my MH flights (KL to SYD and MEL to KL) only gave 1,000 points and 15 status credits for "Discount Economy", but I'm not too surprised...... if I should be, please let me know :)

Cheers,

You likely booked a discount economy fare that doesn't earn any QFF points. If your fare class wasn't one of these, it won't earn with QFF.

Do you still have your QR BP? Sometimes the class of travel might be on it. But don't give up hope on QR though, as the QF FF points and QF SC earn is going up.
As for MH has subclasses (N which I have seen on one) on their Y BPs. No hope for MH though.
Few days or week or so ago on here, it was mentioned that MH travellers who are QF flying Au to KUL can only earn in whY or Y, and even J seats are now earning full Y QF FF points and QF SCs.
You can go to the QF points earning calculator, and no Js are shown in the earning points section.

You need to check the fare class against earning table already linked.

Same for MH. But Qantas have really cut back earning on partners on routes to asia and europe. As a measure to make people fly QF or EK, it seems.

Had a deeper look.
Only in J will the points go back up to the range of 80 or 90 QF SC it seems, just because ADL - DOH flights are now a certainty, with QR.
AusBT had a snippet on it, thought it was Y too, but only J mentioned on the article.
QF is cunning like that, playing favs with EK. Inconvenient hotel in KUL arr time, good for transit to other places in the region.
Some people might want to fly MH J to get to KUL earlier on in the day, rather than leaving MEL at 3.30am to arr KUL at 10.30am when you can't check into your hotel yet as the flier that is.
I believe MH flies out earlier at 14.50pm.
