Hi all,

I booked a ticket with malaysia airline from Singapore to Mel, transit at KL. Initially, the booking flight schedule was that i will depart singapore at 7pm on 8th March and arrive Mel early morning next day. However I got an email yesterday informing me that they had cancelled the flight from KL to Mel due to commercial reason and hence put me to the another flight which depart Singapore at 6.45am 9th March. This means I have to stay one more night in Singapore which cost me money and time.

I am really unhappy about this and email them asking that whether they can accommodate me to another airline in the evening of 8th Marcha and got email said that they refused my request according to thier Terms and Conditions.

Just wanna ask you guys what should I do? Can I cancel the ticket and ask for the refund or else?

Thank you

I'd ask them to waive cancellation fees given the change, let them know you must travel on that date and if they can't accommodate you then youll need to cancel and book elsewhere.

I'd also get off the emails and get on the phones to MH Res which is located in Adelaide, you'll likely get a more favourable response dealing with someone on the phone as opposed to someone on email overseas.
