Do Flexi fare prices change often? I'm looking to book a return flight from Per > Syd in May and return in June. Coming up at 375 per leg at the moment for the flexi - should I wait for prices to drop, or is the flexi fare relatively stagnant?

I actually think that is a really good fare. I normally find they get more expensive as time goes on. Never any specials with Flexi..only Business. Do you have any points to be able to upgrade from the flexi?

Thats probably as good as it gets, I did get a $275 Flexi late last year, but now..... I doubt it very much

I've noticed flexi fares go up roughly in line with the standard red e-deals. example when Mel-Hba was $99 not on sale flexi was $199 now e-deal is $115 and flexi is now $235. Thats roughly 15% for both. As Mella2007 said no sales of flexi fares ever.

Fare enough (See what I did there? )

Yup, the reason for booking the Flexi is to upgrade to Business.

I will make the booking tonight then, as it doesn't seem likely that prices will drop

Thanks guys

In 2011 you could easily get flexi fares on the SYD-PER route for $299. Then in 2012 they brought the base price to $349.... now in 2013 it's $370-$395. You might see the price fall back a bit if VA decides to respond to QF's decision to continue flooding the market with excess capacity in order to maintain its 65% market share, but I'd suggest you just book it, as it is not worth the time trying to guess and time your purchase.

Yeah booked it in already and haven't looked at the site since...

but now that this thread has popped up, i'll go check

aaand it's $391, so looks like it was a good idea to book when I did :)
