First "First" Experience, what's not to miss ?

Coming up in August is a big tick on the bucket list, EK first from Dubai to Perth. Of course there is the First lounge in Dubai, the mini bar, PJ's, amenities and shower on board and the limo when we get to Perth. Is there anything I've missed ? Unlikely I'll be doing it again.

Are they still serving the Rosé?

Collect the stationery kit from the drawer. The semi-circle of amenities on the top of the desk. Enjoy the caviar - loved it. The Dom. Nice. No rose on any of my flights.

Are they still serving the Rosé?

Hmm. They didn't in January but it was still on the list. When I asked they said that they just were out of stock and it would be back. This happened to the Paradis last year as well and that's back.

They only served it on the Australian legs, a treat for us.

If not there's the yummy 40 yo tawny port!

Forget about the 'mini bar' where canned drinks are mostly warm to touch.

Remember to prebook your preferred shower time slot in case there is a clash with others.

Warm bathroom floor: unforgettable !

You don't have to eat all of each dish otherwise you will feel uncomfortably full and sick.

Yup, Rosé and Hennessy! May as well smash the caviar as well. Rosé was on the Perth flight the other month. They decided to just leave me a bottle at a time

I would say don't preplan too much. Just enjoy the experience and live in the moment!
