We caught the SYD-AKL ANZ 787 flight and it was the first time my wife did not experience a issue with her ears. They pressurize at a lower altitude, making the overall flight more comfortable. Also noted there were no window shades, there is an electronic dimmer for the window...amazing. On this flight you can fly in premium economy at the cheapest economy fare...if you are quick.
