After the Alan Joyce QF debacle thought I'd join so I can be on the look out for ways to maximise the use of my 300000 QF FF points. Without using QF if I can.

Welcome to AFF, jasper.

As to your need, there has been a thread on about this. Main things they noted as a) you cannot transfer your points to another FF programme; b) the use of points to buy things from the Qantas store didn;t make good economic sense, and c) use the points fr upgrades on partner airlines. Mind you, I'm using my 600,000 points to pay for a rtw ticket for my partner, and upgrades for myself where I can.

Welcome to AFF Jasperoz!

Some people seem to be in a hurry to use up their QFF points although I believe Qantas will still be around for a few more years.
