Hey guys,
I'm a first-time poster here, so I do seek your patience. I am trying to do a multi-city booking with QF ex-SIN with the following routing -
The website's booking engine is only able to give me a Sale fare of S$901, which, when I called up to check with the call centre, told me that Sale fares book into O class usually. When I lopped off the last segment of this itinerary (i.e. the PER-SIN segment), the itinerary had to be sectorised according to the call centre person and it became a Super Saver (S$902), booking into V class for the SIN-PER segment, and S class for everything else.
Try as I might, I was not able to get the system to price a Super Saver for the full itinerary.
My questions are as follows -
1. Is ringing up the call centre the only way to upfare this itinerary (which will then incur the S$50 call centre fee)?
2. How much difference is the Super Saver fare likely to be from the Sale fare I was quoted (S$901)?
3. Is it likely that some of the higher Sale fares (which I can get if I adjust the dates a bit) may book certain sectors into an upgradeable fare class?
Thanks so much for your help guys!
Cheers,
W.
