Yes agreed. as havent been to F1 in Shanghai since 2008 when it was in October.
was at Malaysia last year so will be interesting if there is any changes for this year.

i was just feeling a little underwhelmed with the arrival of the master of TR's - being Eightblack..............

If you are heading to KL in future I'd highly recommend the (significant) extra expense of staying at the PanPacific if you can get a room. Near to track and airport, and mealtime is a who's who of F1. Sister was at the pool relaxing and looked up to find a former F1 champion sat next to her for a bit of a tan, and I had a lovely chat with a current driver about the curries on offer at the buffet

The hard work is getting the room, since they are few and far between thanks to the team bookings. USF1 pulling out was our gain! Enjoy SHA, I haven't been there and won't get my chance this year with all the other races I'll be attending. Maybe next year?

Won't be staying at PanPac.
have done the whole autograph and driver photos many times before, even a photo with Bernie, the ex-Mrs Bernie, and Flavio Briatore.
now i have a 15yo daughter who does that. we have pit access after the race so see plenty there. daughter scores the photos with the drivers too.

Yep, definitely heading to KL as well as Melbourne. Not sure which ones second half of the year - but definitely Singapore and Japan and hopefully a fair few more! See you all there!

I'm also doing KL F1 this year (never miss it) but won't be able to make China unless I get a cancelled job. I'm probably flying up Friday night with stop in transit hotel in Changi. I have a bought and paid for hotel room in KL on the Friday night if anyone is interested

Citrine stand on the back straight at Sepang - just before the braking point - but we usually blag our way onto the front straight to watch the start
