Expert flyer seat maps??

Hi

I'm checking Expert Flyer for seat maps on Qantas flights from MEL to PER on 19th or 20th April 2016. All flights seem to be the old J cabin i.e. 6 seats across, 6 rows down.

Is this likely to be correct? My experience this year is that several flights have the new J cabin.

My guess is that it would be correct. I've had more ex-Jetstar than the new refitted aircraft on that route. Per - Brisbane seem to be getting all the love at the moment.
 
I suspect the default position is to display the 2-2-2 seatmaps, and it will be for another year or so. Are any seatmaps for April 2016 showing 1-2-1 ?

I think they may only start showing the new config a few months out. Not good to give people false hope .....
 
whats with all the 737s on the PER-MEL journey as well , especially weekends.

I havent noticed it before and i fly this journey a lot

The 737's on the weekend aren't unusual going between PER and SYD/BNE and MEL and vv. simply it is the appropriate aircraft for the demand.

There was a note somewhere that QF are also rejigging the scheduling so the 737's will pop up more regularly going to and fro PER.
 
Fair enough, have just never noticed it. Only noticed as my next trip i will be coming back to PER on the weekend.

I fly mainly during the week which are always full A330's, if they start putting more 737's on during the week I won't be happy.

I have a SYD-SIN on QF81 showing the new seat map for June 2016.
