How do I read the QR 'Additional baggage' page, please? If I have an extra bag, 30 kg, what would I pay to get it with me for SYD-xDOH-HEL (QR x AY)? Can I buy it at the bulk rate and is the cost in the table per kg in USD, perhaps? I.e. the bag would cost 30 kg * USD 25 = USD 750? That would be a very steep price... The page refers to 5 kg increments and if the price is per 5 kg, then it's much more reasonable.

Alternatively, what'd be the cheapest way to get the bag over to the destination?

I have an upcoming flight from Melbourne to Cairo booked under Economy (X) using Velocity Points. It comes with luggage allowance of 2 pieces of luggage, each weighing up to 23 Kg.

Here's how much they charge for additional luggage.

Hope this helps.
