Europe Earlybird Specials flying Singapore Airlines - Travelscene American Express

extra baggage and free accommodation in Singapore plus a reasonably priced Europe and New York option via Frankfurt

There are First & Business earlybirds in the paper but I haven't seen them online yet.

Pretty cheap from SQ, primed for a stoush with Emirates and Etihad.

Me smells a fare war a brewin'

UPDATE: Here are the J and First specials - not bad at all

Just gone on to Emirates Skywards site We are Gold), and priced two seat J(Business) to UK London. Got a price of $9393.85 return, and a price of $9373.55 to Newcastle (we fly there twice a year). Now SIA are offering $7629.00 return, that is $1764.85 cheaper. Very interesting!!!!!!!! So I went to good old Best Flights????, and the EK fare J was Mel to London was $8219, now that is $590 difference. With SIA you fly A380, while with EK you fly Boeing 777-300ER. But our problem is that we are going to Scotland, and do not want to go via London. Are there any ideas out there, but clearly SIA has a better deal than EK. Are EK series or are they having a lend of us/me.

EK fly to both Glasgow and Manchester via Dubai. I'm not familiar with best flights or that sale fare but the price is usually similar to Glasgow or London.

Would you consider the SQ fare to Manchester via MUN?

Another interesting aspect of the SQ deal is their price guarantee. Basically, they will refund the difference if the prices drop in the next year for the same booking.

From anyone who has booked an earlybird deal with SQ and taken up the free accommodation offer while booking online, how long before SQ confirm which hotel from the five on offer has been booked?
Online reviews for each of the five hotels are rather mixed but the deals are good.
To get the lowest fare deals from MEL often involves a delay in Singapore rather than using the MEL-SIN flight that connects with the European long haul sector, but the deals will allow open jaw routing (returming from a different European destination)

I would not be worries about the hotel SQ have booked, they all do the job.
