Eurocar launches Privileges program which has Accor benefits and discounts

I have put this in the hotel section despite it being a rental car company promo simply because I believe its benefits suit Accor guests more so than renters! if you dont have access to Accor discounts (weekends) its worth the free joining alone:

Moving up one level in Europcar’s Privilege program also means more benefits with our Partner Accor:

  • In addition to the 10% hotel discount on best unrestricted week-end rates at Accor hotel brands*, Privilege Club members will get a direct access to Accor’s A|Club Silver card and Privilege Executive members will get a direct access the A|Club Gold card
  • In addition to their special Accor rates, Privilege Elite members will be granted direct access to the A|Club Gold card. Additionally, on first stay in one of the Accor hotels, a 200 A|Club bonus points will be granted to Europcar’s Privilege Elite customers.
Access to your Privilege-Accor benefits will be provided in your Privilege confirmation email via a direct link to the Accor website.
*except Sofitel and Barrière hotels (5% discount) and Ibis, All Seasons, Etap, Formule1 hotels (no discount)

Sounds good. Except there is no information on how to actually get the Gold A-Club membership applied and Europcar's usual coughpy service means no reply to emails and no phone calls returned. We have pulled our entire business from Europcar due to issue after issue with absolutely no care from Europcar. They didn't even have a single thing to say about losing the lot, I honestly thought it would have an impact compared to a single individual. I had offered to give them a go for 12 months, with conditions, to see if there is any improvement, followed by the possibility of getting our business back. No interest and no change.

I assume Australia is a minor office ? They wouldn't give me any information on global headquarters. I intended to put something in writing to highlight the deficient management damaging the business in Australia. If it was my business people would be finishing up.

Keep in mind its a new program as far as levels go, and its detailed on the website how to get the A-club applied:

I already have Privilege Executive. I received no notification on how to get A-Club Gold applied, there are no links from the member login and I get no replies from the privilege mail alias or Nicoles voicemail. It is just another stirling example of the Europcar service level we have experienced over and over.

Just some additional feedback now I have extracted some more info on the A-Club Gold and have done some rentals with Executive membership.

No upgrades a supposed program benefit, same uninterested don't care attitude from Sydney airport staff. No answer to any feedback email or calls. A-Club gold membership cant progress since advantage plus staff know nothing about it and wont work it out with Europcar.

Privilege program with Europcar is nothing more than a card, if it arrives. The benefits for the loyalty don't exist.
