EK-Operated Classic Rewards -- How far in advance can they be booked?

Does anybody how far out EK-operated flights become available to book as classic rewards? I see that the QF information on classic awards says that they can be booked up to 353 days in advance; however, some random searching seems to indicate that only QF-operated flights are available at this outer limit and that the EK-operated flights have a shorter window.

(I'm hoping to book two Y classic reward seats on EK415 for early August 2016.)

I'm pretty confident it is less than 353. Based on my experience booking early-bird J flights to Europe through Qantas but using some EK metal - I had to wait some time for the EK flights to show - it was 340 days I think but could have been 330.

Try make a paid booking and that will let you know award dates also. I think it is around the 330 mark. Bring your dates back and you will see them kick in. Originally we had a Q award booked but changed that to a direct Emirates a few weeks later.

EK releases up to 339 days ahead, although they may not release on a given day. This is particularly the case for J/F seats.

If youre set on going at that time its Probably better value to just buy an early bird / sale cash ticket for around $1500 return.

It's actually the parents, not me, who are looking to travel at that time; and they wish to use their points. They're heading to CDG or somewhere after a couple of nights in DXB, and coming home from BCN or somewhere, probably via DXB and SIN. I have suggested booking the reward flights one-by-one, pretty much as soon as they become available, given their limited availability.

Why not be a good child and buy them the tickets (in exchange for their points) .... then use those points and fly premium
